Souths next week, Souths this week

They have racked up 38 points by half time against a very ordinary Manly team which is a delight to watch actually. This, rather than being good for Souths , playing themselves into form etc. May actually be the opposite for them as they meet a much better team defensively at least, in the Eels next week. They could go into it underdone oooor they could have thier tails up and smash us too.

  • Many have not turned up one bit.  They Are dreadful .  Might rally for 15 minutes affect the break but it Will end up a bath .   Souths will be cocky no doubt.    But our defence will be as Massive difference to the garbage manly are dishing up.

Last 3 rounds will be blow outs . Can't see broncos , warriors , titans , cowboys and tigers doing much .

  • Manly are terrible. There defence is atrocious. Reynolds kicking game is fantastic. Souths have some very good players but theyre playing against the best defensive team next week. If the Eels are at their best they should account for Souths. They have to target Cook and Reynolds. Souths like to play fast from dummy half.

  • Parra will be fired up for Souths next week. The bunnies won't like the defence they face next Thursday night.
Manly are gone for 2020. They're done.

    • Big time test against the Underground muttons for both teams, from what I have read, Mitchel played tops, and in that frame he's very dangerous.

      • LM played well, but Manly’s defence was non existent

          • The gyms are ok if used for the right things, same with speed and sprint training, the latter is where Sivo should be working in, with continued learning on defending his side of the paddock, in that area he showed improvement against the Storm, but there's a bit of fagility there stilll.

          • Poppa you are nuts if you think Rawalawa or however you spell it is a better player than Sivo. He had one arguably better game than him in the wet but he's no way a better overall player. Sivo has good pace over 20 metres. He showed pretty  good pace to score that try in the corner untouched. If it's pace your worried about he's definitely quicker than the dragons winger.

im not sure why I seem to be defending our wingers all of a sudden on here. The criticism is misplaced. They are a fantastic duo and a big reason for our improvements last year. I wouldn't want any other wing pairing in the comp bar maybe the Roosters pair with Tupou fit and that's only because of a late career renaissance from Morris.

Thr criticism of Fergo in particular is from people who don't understand the game and the difficult parts of it.

  • We're manly as bad as their fans r saying on their website or where rabbits great? How did Mitchell play?

    • Manly were terrible

    • They were worse
