Souths Attack

Watching the game and I am very impressed at South's attack tonight..Composure, players all finely tuned with communication. See how it goes for the remainder of the game..Broncos also have improved a lot--Do they have 80 minutes in them?

    • yes Slugg .Broncs have some good players but can,t seem to get their act together.

  • I haven't seen any improvement in the Broncos. Souths are in a training run

  • 2 point field goal love it. Keith Barnes Dick Thornett style Wish they did that more

  • They've had the best and most clinical attack for ages. If they are on there isn't much that can be done.

  • In the few minutes when the Broncos muscled up the Bunnies were all at sea. Whack Benji and he drops the ball or does something stupid. But hang off him like they have done for 30 minutes and he looks like a genius.

    • I think you are right Mutts, The Broncs have a lot of potential when they learn to harness the power game they have with that pack. Essentially they can have the same power plays Parra does, they are just disorganised at present and need an old head to take them around the paddock...... I am not looking forward to us playing the Broncs again.

In the process I was looking at ways to stop Souths and I think we saw glimpses of it i.e. line speed a constant and are sweeper behind the first line of defence (DBrown). It will be a case of who tires first, our pack can do them in if we don't get cut to pieces on the edges.....you also need to have a marker on Reynolds kicks, at least take some of the time of him. Strangley with all the problems we were having with the Wests kicker last week, it took us to the end to start pressuring him...game smarts?

    • Brissyeel I posted it early. Their start was very good. When Cook and Reynolds take control they are all class organisationally .Benji still has some smarts about him

  • I haven't seen anything from Souths all year that they are a better side than Parra. If Parra can keep up their momentum we should fancy ourselves to beat anybody.

    • A different side, not necessarily a better side Finny......we don't do different well.... LOL

  • Latrell is nearly impossible for most defensive backlines especially one or two in.  BA really has to consider keeping Nikure out there. He's been very good and if he trained to play centre, it could be a permanent move.

"PG,
He’s already shown he’s not willing to be rushed into a decision by the Lomax camp to suit them.
From all accounts, he’s a straight shooter and an excellent judge. I believe he’s a former equity barrister as well, so he’s experienced and…"

"Nope he is fit finally! Listed at 26.I honestly got no idea what injury he had that caused him not to play the second half of the year. hopefully he has a strong year in nsw cup. I rate him more than Jezaiah and Samrani, as a backrower if he stays…"
