A true legend has left us, massive Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the dog fan here, very sad and shocked to hear that Chris Cornell has died age 52 ''suddenly and unexpectedly''in Detroit leaving a wife and 2 children who are apparently very shocked, as you would be.

Early reports suggest suicide, he was found in the bathroom of his residence in Detroit after having just played a gig with Soundgarden that night at Fox studios, not much more info has come out.

IMO the greatest most powerful voice in music has left us, his voice had the ability to touch the core of my soul like no other, a true legend of Grunge and one of the founding fathers.

Thanks for the great music Chris.

RIP TO THE GREAT MAN.

    • Simply sublime voice, you could feel his spirit and soul in every word.

Off to rock with the second greatest singer Andy Wood now.

    • Listening to that god awful drone it makes me wish it was me that died and not him so I'd never have to worry about accidentally listening to it again . I'm sure a few would be happy for that to be the case .
  • Gee that sucks I used to love Savagegarden
  • I'm shocked by this news. Very sad. Was just listening to his great rendition of Billy Jean and wowing at his great yet voice again.!
