Sorry Slip........ Can we take the Titans??

I reckon this is another danger game.

Traditionally we are very poor against this shit team so I'm hoping that the side can lift for this game.

I can also see both Hayne and Peats lifting against their old side/coach so the  boys need to lift to avoid another embarrassment.

Thoughts??

  • It worries me as now the games vs tigers dogs and knights have shown that we drop our levels against the weaker teams and play them into the game more then we should
  • If we miss it from here it would be the greatest choke in the history of CHOKES!!

  • Ask me frank will we beat the titans you wont like it

iLL tell you any way no we wont hayne show why he getting paid the money he is and peats show us why we should of never let him go

I think we starting to choke as you said frank

    • Quick to bite when they lose a game. I wonder where you were when Eels were winning, Arnold?

    • So glad you keep saying the Titans will beat us Arnold. You are wrong so often that it fills me with confidence that we will in fact beat the titans next weekend.

    • Arnold your are on fire. Hayne didn't play, Peats was average and the eels never looked like losing. Could you have been any more wrong lol!! I assume we won't be hearing from you again until our next loss.
  • Not guaranteed, Brett. If we lose all and Saints win all, I think Penrith only need two wins and Cowboys/Manly one win and we drop out on for/against? Of course if "all but" means "what's likely", I agree.
  • I reckon the Eels will lift against the Titans for sure and come away with a win. They will be really pissed off from the game against the Knights and the disgraceful refereeing. I just hope that the Eels never have the same referee again this year!
  • Yes we can and will

  • Let's put it this way.
Our season is on the line with this game against highly beatable, but tricky opponents.
A finals bound side would take last night's disaster and lift. Last night SHOULD be the catalyst for a very tough week on the track and some very hungry boys who want to turn it around and start a run into Sept one week at a time. The Titans should be very very afraid.
However last night could also deflate the enthusiasm of our side and expose us as pretenders in 2017.

What happens next, after a humbling like last night's encounter, should determine the fate of this team.

"Thanks KN/ EA. Just checking my gut feeling. Hopefully, he stays & makes good on his potential. I like his upside: footy nous, big body, kicking game, goal-kicker. Ain't many sixes offering all that. He's called by many in RU as a "Sua'ali'i clone…"

Slippery. replied to Eelawarra's discussion NRL LEGENDS EXPLAIN WHY THEY HATE BRETT KENNY

Brett Kenny is the reason I support the Eels. He was the most naturally gifted player I have ever seen. In my opinion Imortal status he is worthy of. However, what I find even more bizarre is the fact that Brett Kenny was not once named in the…"
