SORRY NO urgency

Just watching the origin and have to say our man hayne is still along way off being the best fullback in the comp. THe tonga try after leaping with slater hayne just stood their and watched tonga pick the ball up and score. He was caught out of position a few times, playing up in the line when he should have been back. Just think he needs to watch some videos of his performance to say slater or stewarts.
thoughts?

  • In this match Slater has definitely been much better than Hayne. I still hope he gets crunched in the last 20 though... :-)
  • just think he has been too lazy, out of postion and needs to get their and get into it. some days hes shows so much energy and urgency the next he is lazy and plays like an old tired forward.

cant believe beau scott got panalised not inglis, such a bad call what else do you do when he wont let go of ur shirt. inglis needs a wake up call and someone bigger should give it to him. same with gallen been on report yet one happenned before on hayne and nothing was said??
    • The try was not hayne's fault, he got outjumped by slater and he knocks it back to tonga, while pearce just stands there and watches him score
    • hahahaha if you saw what happened in the tackle you couldnt blame inglis. Scott was hardly part of the tackle but when he saw it was inglis, he decided to attack his head with his forearm. If i was inglis i wouldve done the same, and still thought i deserved a penalty
    • TOTALLY AGREE!!!!! Slater did nothing tonight apart from his support play and kick chase that suggested he is in anyway better than hayne. So what, he can run next to a good halfback and catch a pass to run through a hole?? Hayne could do that with a good H/B and kick his 40/20s and set up trys for his teammates. It is almost unfair to compare the two as Hayne should be playing 5/8 (or a roving role) as that is what he does for club. If you want any indication of who is better, watch a game where Hayne can play his natural game, which is in an eels jersey. And we all saw last friday night that hayne, in a suitable environment, is way better than slater.
  • I really dont care about origin anymore, its all about parra for me:)
  • NSW does not give hayne the chance toooo be the amazing player we know he can be! He is limited by what his team mates do and set up. NSW do not know how to utilise him! What do you expect hayne to do, jump over all the qld players?
    • No halves would have excelled the way we crumbled on the edges.

Pearce is our only 7 option. Hayne is our best 1 option, and Gildey was very good off the bench. At least those spots are scure for the medium term you would think.
    • Who would you pick.
  • freudian slip eh?
