  Because blaming the refs would have given the players at out, when they needed to own that terrible result (as does BA). What BA did was good management, he knows the refs were terrible, but he's not going to let the boys take the easy out and blame the refs

     eels-brad : Are you a mind reader? How do you know that Arthur thought the refs were terrible? That is rank speculation on your part. The game result is quiet in line BA`s coaching record. We lose games at the back end of the season against teams we should beat. We also let in many points in the second half in those games. That`s his record. In Brad you trust. There is still a chance the players can pull their fingers out and win a game from the final three games ---a small chance.

  Henry gave us nothing. Absolutely zero. Kent calls all night and found any reason to give the call to the knights.
  
  But our kicking game was pathetic. We ran the ball on the last too many times hoping to get a quick try and get back in the game. There was no patience in drilling into the in goal or down the field to back our defence.
  
  We let in 2 tries through the middle of the field. On the back of repeat sets. If there's anything BA says every week in a presser after a loss it's that we keep giving the opposition possession and inviting them to our end of the field. Quick stupid plays, fumbling possession, inviting them back to our end of the field.
  
  Our forwards today went ok. They did the hard yards I thought. Yeah we could've/should've punished them but the slow ruck from perenara kept them in the game.
  
  Both Moses and Norman should learn a big lesson out of tonight. You don't win games running it on the last. You don't give your forwards a rest by taking short cuts.
  
  Somi and will smith looked lost at the back. Those bombs were killing them. We need Bev back.

    Semi has been quite average . Glad we didn't spend big bucks to try to retain him . Again BA held his budget to what he knew the guy was worth to the team .
    
    Thank Christ he learnt from Watmong .

    That's a really good summation. The halves lost their cool tonight going for the miracle play instead of the safe high percentage option. Once down on the Knights line we should have been able to set up camp and stay there until a try eventually presented itself. We panicked. I hope they learnt a harsh lesson.

  He kinda hinted it in the pressers Robbie . Considering coaches have been losing 10K like it's $10 this week , what would you expect him to say ?
  
  I think anyone who's ever watched a game of league could tell the refereeing was sub standard tonight even by the NRLs standards . Probably the worst controlled game Ive watched this season .
  
  And it suited The Knights . Don't get me wrong , a better team would overcome it , but the refereeing was seemingly happy to slow the game down to a stuttering mess .

  Lol I actually mean kirisome. I really love semi - he's a lightning rod of hate when we go bad but he does so many good things as a winger. He's x-factor.
