"Police attending the NRL match last night at ANZ Stadium at Homebush arrested six people after a brawl at the match.
The Parramatta Eels and Canterbury Bulldogs match at Homebush commenced shortly after 7.40pm and had a number of police and security officers at the venue.
With approximately ten minutes of the second half remaining a brawl occurred at the northern end of the ground.
As a result of the altercation six people were arrested and four of those issued with criminal infringement notices for offensive behaviour.
In all 15 people were ejected from the ground during the match.
The police operation continued outside the ground as the crowd moved towards the railway station at the completion of the game.
Police made a further arrest for offensive language and two juveniles were detained for malicious damage.
Two officers reported being injured as a result of the operation with one suffering a dislocated thumb and the second received leg injuries from the brawl.
Senior police have spoken to the NRL and inquiries into the incidents continue with the issuing of banning notices to be considered."
Couldn't possibly be another case of dirty doggies supporters being sore losers... Could it?

After the game I was being yelled out, beeped at and even ridiculed by some Bulldogs fans as I was on my way home.
If Parramatta loses I pride mysel on being able to lose graciously and never feel the need to take away from the victors. Similary, if Parramatta wins, I don't think it's nice to kick another supporter when they are down.
When did people forget how to win graciously and be noble and valiant in defeat?

I must admit though that there is nothing more that i used to like doing, than going down to Belmore on a sunday afternoon and watching the Eels smash the Doggies, those were the days, they were grubby losers back then too.

While I was slightly distressed at being ridiculed last night, I know that my team won and that people like that are just looking for trouble. I refuse to stoop to such a level.
I suppose I would also be careful in making generalisations about other fans. In the past I have had problems with not just Bulldogs supporters, but supporters of other clubs too.
It simply comes down to having the common decency to admit you were beaten by a better team, or if you are a loser on the day, to accept the result and look to next week.
The police had to get so violent because of how violent the kids were! They were kicking the cops and trying to get into fights with them. The worse thing is they're all little 16 year old hero's who think they're invincible and above the law.
I honestly sometimes feel sorry for passionate bulldogs supporters because of the shit they cop for being associated with scum that support their team. Every team has scum, but no one has scum like the Bulldogs. Im getting worried because more and more of the Bulldogs 'type' supporters are starting to support parra and my fears are that we're going to be the next Bulldogs and the clashes between Bulldogs v Parra are only going to get worse.
Sorry for any racist comments but im really angry as i write this.
