Being bored and having nothing to do, I trolled a few footy sites and apart from NRL and TV channels no one is commenting on "The Greatest Game of All"
Has this farce run its course?
Laughed at Bennet complaining about Keary being born in Ipswich (#2 Two head city in QueeRZland) but playing for NSW.
Funny how he conveniently forgot Inglis, Thugday, Lam and so many other Toads who were NOT born in QueeRZland.
Personally, if a couple of Parra lads were not playing and I wanted to see how they go, I probably would not bother turning on the TV tonight, then again I might still troll Netflix or Stan anyway.
Now if you don't reply I will understand you are like me and simply could not give a damm - if you do reply you are probably bored spitless like me and looking for something to pass the time.

SOO has its place in the middle of the season. not at the end of it. The only news of interest is Parra signings for next year.

At the end f the day, when (almost) nothing has been said, and even less has been done my theory is proven correct,
So the anthem is out and we will have The Star Spangled Banner instead - good move.
Fans complain in middle of season as well. I forgot Keary said he was a Q originally. I would just rather watch the regular season without interruption although it gives most players a rest but not elite few.

SOO I agree this time of year would be great on weekend and a perfect match. A couple of family members left for Adelaide early this morning so at least a couple will be there in person.
This is somewhat true, and really it all falls on the organisers. They've stripped its identity, they took what made it the pinnacle grudge match away from it, and made it PG Rated. Look at when interest started to dip, right around the time the game was made child friendly. On top of that, Queensland arn't winning, so they seem to have lost that interest. Unlike, NSW, they gave up straight away. A couple of series down, and they no longer care for origin
I love state of origin. But I am not feeling as pumped this year. I suspect it's because it doesn't seem like it's even on tonight. Once it gets going and if the parra boys play well I'm sure I'll get pumped up for it.
He forgot the time difference Slugg, it was still yesterday over there so I expect he will mention it ssometime during his speeches today (our time)
