Something doesn't add up

There is something we're not being told here.Hayne has walked away from a $1million a year contract in the NRL. Ok fair enough but does everyone understand exactly what he is going to in the US?Apparently he has absolutely no contract at all in the US. No agent, no manager, no training contract, no NFL contract. No association with the Sea Hawks or any other club. Apparently he's not taking any family or friends either.Hmmm this just doesn't seem right. It's either a massive brain snap or there is someone else in his ear making promises we don't know about. Maybe The Lord works in mysterious ways.

You would have to think he would have some contacts after his trips to the States and NFL players coming to Aus.

I agree doesn't add, so I think there must be more.

Unfortunately it's not Ron. Apparently his manager is devastated and trying to talk him out of it. He just lost his biggest client.

Parra seem very calm about the situation also.

I guess there is nothing they can do but id be fighting hard for your best player at least.

Don't want to cause a drama but is Hillsong Church big in USA yet? He will miss that side of things.

  This is where I'm thinking too. Hypothetically if Jarryd cracked it for an NFL spot would Hillsong stand to benefit from having one of their brethren be this huge sporting name in the US? Would it be worth them backing him until he can get a contract? Could be a big pay off for them......Hypothetically of course.

Heard the same thing the bloke has not even got a contract, but if signed he stands to make upwards of 14 million per season, now Jarryd has gone to challenge himself hasn't he LOL

His contract expired in 12 months time anyway, why would he fly over to the States for a year only so he could sign with the Tahs?
