  • Basically it said that they had 800k to target another front rower with salmon or brown coming into the halves and they would prob upgrade brown to top 30 to stop him being poached have read it but dont have access
  • I read somewhere, cant remember where, that Corey was willing to take a haircut for 2019 in order to get the three year deal thus ensuring his future.

  • From what I've read the Eels are only paying $160k for the 2 months served of his final year. If he has signed with Dragons for $600k then looks like he is out of pocket $200k for next season. But his thinking might be if he stayed with Eels & had another shocking year he would struggle to get any contract for 2020 & beyond. So $1.8M over the next 3 years is prob worth giving up that $200k now.
