"Pops, we can talk about this for hours, lol. His carries, skill, and passion won’t be replaced like-for-like; he was our Haas-Coates lion-hybrid. Our Thor hammer as you say.

"Yeah well he's gone and you're still blabbering on.
You can't prove the contract amount that Lomax signed on for, and it was stated he was on 800 at the dragons. Common sense says only a fool would think he'd sign here for 650. .

"I am strongly of the view that losing Lomax is a disaster.

"A "master stroke" and "the type of guy Jason Ryles doesn't want". Maybe Lomax is very replaceable, even to the point of being unwanted, and the club isn't at fault at all in how this has been handled."

So he gone all ready i was hoping he play the year out and really try hard for us
Just hope we not paying nothing for him
Dr and Pops can suck my big C. O. C. K
I agree Arnie.
Will hurt us in the short term.
I read somewhere, cant remember where, that Corey was willing to take a haircut for 2019 in order to get the three year deal thus ensuring his future.
From what I've read the Eels are only paying $160k for the 2 months served of his final year. If he has signed with Dragons for $600k then looks like he is out of pocket $200k for next season. But his thinking might be if he stayed with Eels & had another shocking year he would struggle to get any contract for 2020 & beyond. So $1.8M over the next 3 years is prob worth giving up that $200k now.
