Some Inverse Bad News

The Sydney Morning Herald ran a piece that Will Hopoate while at Parramatta received an off the books payment from Eddie Obied jnr. This is good news for the Eels, as far it goes, because Cory Norman was said to have done the same from Nolan the then CEO. That does not look good for Norman or Parramatta. Thus, it does not look good for Hopoate

either. But Hopoate is now with Canterbury, so with any action against Hopoate--suspension, deregistration etc, will impinge upon Canterbury and Greenberg won't allow that. So it will be no action against Hopoate and thus should be no action against Norman. We are dealing with a very weird person here--now blackmailing The Eels re Haynes registration. Green berg should realise that Hayne will go to NSW Union if he can`t go to  Parramatta. Image all the free publicity given to Union over league. You would be crazy to do it. Inverse Bad News means good news.
