So-called crisis meeting cancelled

There will be no so-called crisis meeting between the club and Jarryd Hayne after his manager and The Daily Telegraph managed to create headlines over Daniel Anderson's post-match commentary.

While readers of 1Eyed Eel were treated to genuine scoops over the past week - we broke the news that Tom Humble would move to the starting side as well as exclusively reporting Kris Keating's decision to join with the Bulldogs, the Telegraph was beating up a so-called rift between Daniel Anderson and Jarryd Hayne.

They alleged that things had become so tense that manager Wayne Beavis had called an emergency crisis meeting between his star client, CEO Paul Osborne and coach Daniel Anderson.

Today Beavis admitted there would be no crisis meeting today.

"They're telling me there's no problem so that's it, unless Jarryd specifically advises me to the contrary I won't be doing another thing," Beavis was quoted as saying on LeagueHQ

He added he was "assured after talking to both the chief executive and the coach that there is no issue so that's the end of the story for mine."

Meanwhile, Danny Wielder over the weekend re-iterated 1Eyed Eel's earlier report that Eric Grothe had last month stormed out of training. 1Eyed Eel was the only place to report this incident, after verifying it took place with multiple sources inside the Parramatta camp.

i heard ozzy talking on fox sports saying that there is no rift, also went on to say that hayne is tired and being in the nsw camp will be good for him to get away, i read danny's page its a shame he was a bit late on that scoop. man he writes alot about sonny bill and greg inglis alot. really negative about joey as well,

C'mon 1Eyed - what are we going to bitch about if people keep telling us that the DT got it wrong - AGAIN.
Living in the NRL waste lands that doesn't even know what the DT is = nowhere land, but with you constanly giving out fact what is a guy to do?
BTW did Wielder just write about Grothe or was that a while back when it actually happened?

"Inu says the negative publicity surrounding the Eels has not affected the team as they prepare for their clash with the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium this Sunday in Auckland.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hayne and DA have staged this fued to ensure the papers are not focusing on KK, Morts and Humble... as it's their combinations or lack of that is affecting the team... diversionary tactics perhaps:)
