After this weekend, Im no closer to working this one out.
Daley says he wants to go in with a combination that plays together at club level.
The Bulldogs halves did it last year but this weekend showed how much they depend on their forwards and how little they do in attack.
The Roosters pair were also less than impressive.
Adam Reynold is injured.
So who would you go in with?

So individual club halves for you or the Roosters pair?
peter wallace and jack bird
Unfortunately it will be Hodgkinson and Reynolds again. We'll get beat by 40
I reckon last year's SOO series showed how much the Bulldogs' halves suck, for the entire series NSW only scored 26 points. If Gallen and Bird are picked again this year they need halves to tell them to get out of the way when in the opposition's 20. It was very frustrating to see attacking opportunities go begging because Gallen and Bird wanted to be the heroes.
Pearce should be the right half, and I'm not sure about the left half. I would have given it to AReynolds but he's injured. Possibly Mullen? I'm not too sure really.
Also for those who will say that pearce isnt a 5/8, there is no difference between 7 and 6 anymore apart from one being more controlling than the other
I think a fair few people would be agreeing with you. I think that's the best combo that NSW can put in. But knowing how dopey Daley is he'll put in a club combination.
I don't know if this bloke is NSW or QLD, he's similar to Inglis but the best thus far ... I can't believe I'm saying this but ... 7. Pearce and 6. Keary (again, not sure if he's NSW or QLD because I've heard he's both some how)
Franks always been usless at spelling ;)
