We are on 28 with Hands signing. Though it is all at the descretion of the teams willing to sell. Daine Laurie for example, we could want him and all that but it is up to Wests to let him go. With the injury toll across the whole NRL at the moment, depth is important and clubs are not going to give away a player so soon in case of injuries, unless they get someone to replace them.
Added to that, there is not a lot available, a few that could be diamonds in the rough, but majority are not worth while. Do we sign someone from outside of the club for the sake of it?

With Douieh out for the season and some more, I can't see the Tigers releasing Dane Laurie.

I think they would rather scoop up a Pezet or JA before playing Laurie, I think they are destined for a break up. They won't drop the rookie fullback for a few weeks I would imagine.
