So this is why we didn't wear the Heritage jersey

The Heritage Jersey You would have seen The Eels did not wear the 1960s heritage strip, which dates back to when the club made the finals from 1962-65, in last week's Heritage Round because it clashed with the colours of home team Melbourne's heritage strip. But you will see the boys proudly wearing the Heritage Jersey worn by the Thornetts, Ron Lynch, Brian Hambly and others against their old foes The Canterbury Bulldogs, this Friday Night. Watch the Eels fire up for the Bulldogs then when the clock strikes 9pm Bid for your Heritage Jersey.

    • like!
  • The refs knew they had been directed to punish the Eels while being lenient to the Storm.

You'd hate for them to mix up their 'good' team and their 'bad' team.  Fortunately Parra wore yellow and all was sweet.

    • As always and while ever Harrigans in charge of the ref's we're screwed on that front too
  • this is absolutely tongue in cheek, but.............

If we keep playing the way we did on Sunday there would be a fair argument for us to revert to our original strip.  That way we could wear a strip that historically matched our ability and efforts.
