Smokey for Parra football manager job.

I hope that this has not been mentioned before. Before I go on let me warn you that I read this from The Mole. So that's my out!!Anyway The Mole states that there is info that former Manly football manager Steve Gigg is being considered for the Parramatta football managers job. The article I read states that Gigg was the football manager at Manly during their purple patch over the past years and that he was very well respected by the players and coaches of the time. Including BA!I for one am not sold on the Moss campaign for the job! do any of my fellow learned Parra supporters know much about Steve Gigg and would you be satisfied if this fella got the gig? Pardon the pun!

  • From that article and Manly's fate in 2016 you could assume that Gigg was good at his position???? A lot better that Bob Fulton!!! Might be an immortal but has stuffed up NSW and now Manly!
    • The Penns didn't like this guy? I'm sold. Sign him up. The Penns listen to Peter Peters ffs.
  • Agreed Bene, the Penns have been a disaster for the club.  A lot of Manly fans hate them.

  • I've personally worked with Steve Gigg, when Hasler was coach and Toovey the assistant

He was very good at his job. He was also a really decent bloke.

  • Manly had about 10 years of being in the top 4 of teams. Was this bloke their football manager during this time??

I am however a little cautious. Only one bloke we have signed from manly has worked. Maybe we need to stick clear of the blokes from the northen beaches
  • I'd rather ryan giggs!!!
    • Barry Gibb even
