Smith will grab all the headlines leading up to the Storm's game tomorrow and season opener. Hopefully the Rabbits will be there to spoil the party as the Storm will undoubtedly give him some sort of farewell before the game.

Yep got home from work and turned on Fox. Every hour is "Smith 400" up till 5.30 when NRL tonight and 360 are on and it will be all about Smith then too
I don't if the Storm will be giving him a big farewell tonight given Smith isn't going to be there. It's his daughter's birthday, so he's back in QLD.

I think you'll find Cam is the complete opposite. Hates press conferences, doesn't like talking to the media and apparently only wanted to put out a statement to announce his retirement. He got convinced to announce it at the unveiling of the statues.
For a fellow who hates attention, he sure seems to have a knack for timing his announcements to overshadow league events....
I think if he was really seeking attention he'd have announced it after the grand final win.
