Tariq Sims would be a good pick up and would go really well at the Eels. Don't know who Sloan is.
Pretty sure he's a young fella that plays for st geogre.
We have an excess of backrowers. We need to get rid of one or two (Matto & Lane) backrowers rather than buy any.
Our priority signing for 2022 should be:
Experienced 2nd String Halfback - I would be looking at someone like Frawley or S Williams from raiders. JA is not first grade quality and then a young half combination of Dylan and JA is asking for trouble.
2nd String Hooker - I would be looking at Starling since he can apparently find another club. Since it looks like Lussick is heading to super league and Roache cannot overcome injuries, we need some depth to help Mahoney.
Outside Backs - We need a quality outside back if Fergo is not resigning and some depth since Oldfield is useless. With Sivo injured for a few months next year, we need to plan. So Penisini should have one of the centre spots next year. Blake will probabaly have the other centre spot even though most of us believe he would be a better winger. Opacic will be a good 2nd string centre. I assume Niukore and W Smith (if resigned) will provide depth at centre as well. Dunster will probabaly get one wing spot. The other spot is up for grabs with Sivo injured and Fergo not yet resigned. IDK how Naiduki is developing since he did not go to QLD due to the birth of his child. Loizoiu looks to have good potential. He is reported to be a centre, winger and five-eight. I see him as a potential centre.
Sloan is on a development contract until the end of 2023, I would expect an upgraded contract and a spot in the top 30 would be headed his way. Very good player.
Yea he will probabaly get first crack at fullback next year for dragons
Gutho isn't a centre, that got totally abused in origin. Let fergo go and sign sims is the only option.
Sloan is a fantastic talent but we're no chance of getting him.
