Not the premiership hopes, which burn eternal. I'm talking about our blokes playing a shedload of games at home of a night in western Sydney AND NOT PUTTING *%^&ING STUDS ON INSTEAD OF BLADES, AND SLIDING ALL OVER THE JOINT WHEN TRYING TO MAKE TACKLES!
FFS lads, put the bloody long studs on. Ok it's meant to be fine, but it's been fine most night's we've played there and if there's even a hint of dew our blokes look like the plae getters in Steve Bradbury's race at eh Winter Olympics.

I think my son told me that Tedesco used to use long studs, and now uses short ones becuase of the many knee injuries he had early in his career. He'd rather slip now than blow out a knee.
It's a massive issue. I wrote a blog about it earlier in the year. The NRL is a premier sport and Bankwest is a major stadium. To have the showcase athletes losing their footing isn't funny, it's unnaccetpable. Bankwest Stadium needs to fix it ASAP.
I noticed the Suncorp surface was soft but seemed firm enough. The ANZ Stadium surface was beautiful.
No commentators seem to have made this an issue but the NRL definitely should. It's like building a new racetrack that no cars can drive on without sliding off into the dirt.
I seem to remmeber some comments from the commentators Mutty.
One in particular was a game where Moses went to the long studs after ice skating the entire game the week before, they focused heavily on him during warm up testing grip etc.
Fell over taking one of the goal kicks from memory and spent more time on his butt after kicks than was good for anyone.
