Roosters player Shaun Kenny Dowall was arrested and charged last night after being found in possession of cocaine at the Ivy night club.
It comes after he was dropped from Kiwis Test side and is rumoured to be moving to Newcastle at season's end.
It appears the Roosters were only made aware this morning and the NRL Integrity Unit is yet to be contacted.

The 29-year-old was charged over possessing the drug, believed to be cocaine, and issued with a court attendance notice to appear on June 21.
The Roosters were informed of the incident overnight but the NRL was unaware of the arrest when contacted by 9NEWS this morning.
Kenny-Dowall previously faced domestic violence allegations during his 2015 season, but was fully acquitted of all charges.

He can now play Rugby Union with Touloun in France along with the other druggies.
That's a blow to our chances.
NRL won't act until after his court case - innocent until proved guilty.
Will only get the same as corey one would guess.
Hmmm very interesting...and not good 4-8 weeks i think; but when has the NRL been consistent..? Papaali..and nothing said from NRL.
