I'm know he is injured a lot but I would keep him for next year. There is no one better 10 metres out to finish an opportunity. Can be lazt at times but what else have we got. Russell is shit. Why didn't Tago play tonight he has been good the last few weeks. Neither as good as Sivo. Even when Simmo comes back he can't finish like Sivo. We are stupid to move him on.

Lazy and error prone. Didnt even bother chasing in support on that Russell break , saw it unfolding and decided it was too much effort.
Does his best work 5 metres from the opposition line but the other 95m he is bog average.
Sivo's rocks or diamonds. Thankfully he was more of the latter tonight. If Ryles wants a clean out, Haze Dunster would be first on the list, followed by Russell (who was so easily caught tonight following that break it proves he has zero pace.) Sivo should be well done the list of players to worry about.
We need to start our sets better.
Sivo does not do much to help this.
He's been consistently slow and uneventful for a while.
Had a great end to the season however for the coin he is on it makes sense to try and improve our metre gains in our first few tackles.
Sivo was playing injured before he came back the most recent time. Since he has come back into the team he has probably played his best footy since 2019.
The plan was definitely to move him on but I am wondering if the last month of footy might have changed that. They didn't send him off like they did RCG.
Id be keeping him
I reckon he was low on confidence. He had a massive 2019 season, then 2020 and 2021 were a bit luckluster but not too bad. Jennings leaving effected him since they worked so well together in defence then he got Opacic that helped but his ACL in 2021 did not help him. That hampered him and his confidence dropped massively. Now it seems he got a massive kick up the arse with Ryles coming in, seems he is desperate to stay in Australia, now is putting in. He is still rocks and diamonds but man he has big plays in him too, plus can find the line better than anyone the club has ever seen.
You say Russell is bad yet he had a good game tonight, a couple of mistakes but he held Tupou well in most parts and that run out of the in goal was great too. He is better in defence than Tago simple as that. Give Tago a full NRL pre-season then it could be different.
Yeah Russell was ok. When they picked Russell over Tago I was way more confident we would win. Tago gives his all but he isn't nrl quality yet
Simon, 21 tries in 13 games.Just need to coach him better.I think given a different defensive system and coaching changes, worth a chance.Needs to improve his effort areas and carries out of the back field.
He may be good 10m out from the try line with the ball but every other aspect of his game is average, especially his defence. He's just like Ravalawa and dragons are looking to off load him too. $500k is probably too much for Sivo.
Sivo is very rocks and diamonds as someone else mentioned on here. He has scored 104 tries for the club, but how many has he let in??. I just don't think he's been the same since he got them two bad injuries. If you watch highlights of him in 2019/2020 he were an animal, not anymore.
He was very good in last fortnight and basically since he returned from injury most recently . He didn't play any better than that in 2019.
When you say ' let in' tries what do you mean by that? Do you count the last try wests scored as him letting in a try? That's clearly a bad defensive read inside by talagi where he has no choice but to follow in. In League the winger follows the centre. I'm not saying he has has never made a shit defensive play but a lot of the time he's not at fault when the try is scored outside him.
An example of a winger 'letting in' a try is that try they scored on Russell (who was good apart from that) where the young 6 threw that cut out pass. There was no reason for Russell to have given up the sideline there and be beaten by the pass.
