Simply the Best - NRL Commercial

What's everyone think of the new NRL ad?

Personally I think it was an exercise in ticking as many PC issues as it possibly could whilst simultaneously (and inexplicably) re-opening Super-League War old wounds.
What a hot mess!!

  • apparently the nrl has caused an outrage on social media.... there was no reference to climate change and support for PETA

    • imagine if guys pashed on after games on the park sluggy.

Its just so trashy and pathetic, these women imo are trashing the game, making a mockery of it, that QLD halfback is the worst offender and and absolute horror to have to look at.

Would be great if we just kept the park for sports stuff, not all the nonsense in this ad.

        • The ads so woke i need some normison after seeing it.

Definitely the most pathetic and disgraceful sporting ad ive ever seen.

        • This is what happens when women become involved in the game and we start catering for them, its happening in cricket too.

I warned about this long ago, absolutely nothing good will come out of it for guys like us.

They will drag the games down to levels not seen before and fill it with all sorts of nonsense.

          • I could not agree more Snake. I have sent emails to the nrl before outlining my complaints and never had a response. The game is not and will not be the same.

      • I still don't agree with the women getting a start on GF day at the expense of the U20s. They play a 3 round 'competition' then get handed a plum game on the comps biggest stage.

The U20's got punted, from GF day, yet the NRL want to expand the comp?

        • Yes agreed Iamnot; its PC rubbish and they i would like to see the comparisons in ratings on tv.

        There ya go snakey.

  •  Absolute garbage, more pushing of minority groups and PC nonsense.

Why are they promoting the Aboriginal flag and shoving that stuff constantly down our throats, why are they promoting homosexuality?

Absolute disgrace of an Ad, it shows that theres imbeciles running the joint.

Weve handed the game over to women and overnight given them equal pegging in the game without them earning it and without them having the ability to even pay their own ways through some decent crowds.

    Where was the Aussie flag?
