Signings and Team problems

If we sign anthony watmough at all its bullshit.

Our forwards are young and will be better next year through having experience.

Our hooker has been resolved finally Nathan Peats to be the long term hooker.

Our five eight and halfback is the biggest problem to the day Brett Kenny Peter Sterling retired.

If Daly cherry Evans was our halfback I think parramatta would have had a premiership by now. Plus held on to Luke Keary our halves problems would be fine.

  • Why do people think DCE will be a saviour?

Look at the team he had around him when they won the premiership.

  • I don't see DCE as a saviour. He has talent, but even manly fans say he is playing crap at the moment

I honestly think I'd rather persist with Sandow (with some more backrower defensive help around him) and another 5/8 or a different halves option. DCE prob wont happen if Choc comes to Parra anyway

  • I've heard this all before Alfred, slotting DCE in won't IMO do shit!

there ain't no silver bullet to the issues we have at our club mate,it takes minimum 2 years to get a side structurally and mentally prepared taking into account recruiting (which we suck at and have for ages) to take them to a G/ F !

it's a given we need experience in the forwards and our halves a spluttering mess not to mention out centre pairing but recruiting DCE ain't no easy fix to our problems!
    • Yep look at the panthers
  • I would take Foran over DCE

  • Ffs what would DCE do without foran, stewart, stewart, watmough, lyon matai tafua and *othr winger, have massive wraps on but cannt remember his name*. Thats a half who he can share the load equallly to steer the ship, two forwards that are always good for quick play the balls and offloads, 2 centres to create, a fullback who can create and finish and 2 great finishers.
What willl he do when he gets a shit ball from paulo and already has 2 defenders on him, or when hhe yhas morgan who xant pass, or hoppa who has next to no speed, or toutai who has no idea hhow to position himself, or catch a ball, pr radradra who is still learning the game, or sandow who he wont be able to control, or norman who is average, or a forward pack who can't offload. He wont look sp good then.
Sorry for spelling and grammar, on my phone.

  • Over the hill and far away. Mother duck said quack quack. Good for next year only. He is already relying on cheap shots too many and gives away penalties. DCE would'nt feed him without Foran and Lyon beside him. Why wont you believe me.
  • Trialled for parra but got knocked back. Went to Norths then Manly then Q Cup
  • From what I've heard he was told he was too small and then he started filling out physically.
  • Well think about it DCE has played two grand finals and rep footy. We need a halfback Sandow has improved but not the halfback to get a premiership. Plus DCE isnt arrogant. Hayne great player just wish he wasnt so arrogant. Corey norman needs a good halfback. Have we got any good young centres or wingers coming through ryan morgan is rubbish.
