SHUT UP! be happy :-)

It's such a frickin hard lose to take! But remember we were nothing for the last few years. Last in fact.Inexperience is what stuffed us today and through out the season - it is why when we lose we lose heavily. It's the risk you take when you blood youngsters.I think we've had a successful season and have unearthed some brilliant talent. Do we deserve more? Probably. The future is bright!

  • All fair points and i agree, but we really got our pants pulled down today and it was ugly, everybody is entitled to be dirty with that, but im still counting it as a good year, yes the futures bright.

    • Ugly it was. Hot & Cold has been the theme for our year. More hot thankfully.
    • x 2 snake

But really, it has been the pattern all year - just as we look like getting ahead, a proper hiding. It has been like this since the early rounds when the Roosters put 50 on us

      11 losses - 7 times the opposition scored 30+....and 5 of those were 40+

I thought we'd finally turned the corner last week - to take it to the next level

We just don't seem to be ready for that yet

Still - I see more good than bad moving forward

  • Great points, and your right.

  • Fuck the future we had a chance to show what we have this year. They were totally disappointing and showed no spirit out there like previous years. Arthur should be sticking a rocket fair up the arse of some of this players. That was embarrassing to watch especially with so much on the line. Same as the raiders game they were lucky to get the win there. They should of played with heaps more spirit and wanted it more. Which the Knights did and they won.
  • Total bullshit to blame inexperience. There was plenty of experience playing. We just dropped the ball in their quarter too often and then had no intensity in defense.
  • look at those who made crucial mistakes mate.
  • Since a decent year compared to the last two.
  • Good points mate but they basically gave up in that game it was frustrating to watch considering how far we've come this year. It's been a great season but that made it look ugly.
  • Definitely a happier year than last year. We have competed with the best teams some rounds.

Anyway, these 'upset' blowout scores seem to happen quite often to any team in the comp this year for some reason. Who would have backed Manly to go down 22 nil in the second half last week? Looking at scores around the ground in the last few weeks, picking scores and margins is about as predictable as Melbourne weather... So glad I'm not into gambling !!

He needs to fix his defence so let's see what happens…"
