Injury to Peats got me thinking.
Should clubs have the ability to temporarily swap/loan players mid season. For example, the sharks could do with a decent back in their first grade squad and with Peats out we could do with a decent hooker.
They have Lichaa in reserve (behind de gois and morris) whilst we have Vai Toutai/John Folou/Fabian Goodall/Furiamo etc who would all no doubt walk into their side over Jonathan Wright (LOL).
Would it not be beneficial for both clubs if, for example, we loaned Folou out to get some experience in first grade whilst we got Lichaa to cover Peats. Obviously doesn't matter for them as he leaves next year anyway.
Would allow another avenue for clubs to develop talented youngsters behind current established first graders. And cover season derailing injuries.

I've always wondered this as well. Problem is our competition is small in comparison to European football, who's loan system is terrific. It's a great way for both clubs to ensure their youngsters get experience in top tier competitions.
