With view to taking over the reins at an appropriate point?
i am happy BA has been given a long stint; however, it may be time for a change in a few years and I am guessing much of our improvement this year - halves and game management- has been due to Johns. He could probably bring a lot more as assistant coach even if he never progresses to head coach.

Everyone has a price
Head coach picks his own assistants, it was ever thus.
Not sure Dylan Brown or Reed Mahoney have improved.
You do know that improvement is incremental, it’s not instantaneous, don’t you ?
Seriously, what are you expecting out of two guys who have played a combined 88 games ?
Yep, sure can see the incremental improvements in Dylan Brown.
Kind of agree to an extent.
What I don't understand is joey in commentary on how to play in wet conditions. We don't play like that. So did we not get the memo? Or Joey did tell us or our halves didn't excite?
1) How much would you consider the halves have improved since Andrew Johns has arrived?
2) Some of the best players are not always good coaches.
3) What would his going rate be in terms of $$$$?
At the moment I would say that it is pretty difficult for Johns to be effective while he is not in the bubble and shouting instructions over the fence. The halves showed great improvement in the first part of the season when Johns was around and closer to the action.
