Should DCE have been sent off under concussion rules?

Serious question after watching the replay. When DCE went down complaining of contact to the head and it was reviewed, shouldn’t he have had to come off the field under the concussion rules? Later when Hasson stayed down and was deemed to have been collected by a crusher tackle he was automatically sent off under the concussion rules.
Is there a rule that a player can only go off under the concussion rules if they are awarded a penalty?

For the record I thought both were diving and DCE should cop a flaking for poor sportsmanship.

    Hamish it wasnt a head knock, he had the top of his neck stretched, his head got tucked under Mannah.

    Concussion is getting a head knock that moves the brain around in the skull.

      Trouble with Sandow is he could get complacent.  I say if we 're-sighn him we should only give short term deals with incentive based extension options. Really is good to see him happy and playing like a free spirit eh. Great character to have around the club

    I don't get how Lyon can keep going up to the refs every time a decision is made and yet when our guys go up they tell them to go away

    I can't believe the refs are stopping and reviewing replays midway through a set to check for infringements.

    DCE did it to us R3 which lost us the game.
