  As in the initial blog on this topic, I agree with stevEELla82 and Darkhabiitz....
  
  Cayless should start the season in the run on squad with the (c) next to his name. No doubt.
  
  HOWEVER, just like every other player in the squad, he's gotta perform.
  
  If his form deteriorates (e.g., he's not making 100+ yds per game on average) or he suffers a debilitating injury where he can't perform at 100% THEN we need to replace him and bring up fresh blood. No team in the comp can afford keep a prop (or a Captain) in the squad based on sentimentality....

  Cayless is traditionally a very slow starter and doesn't peak until the 2nd half of the season.
  
  At the end of last year he was outplaying Poore easily.
  
  Starting side for sure. Fui off the bench and maybe Nathan can have some time in the 2nd row playing on the left. Cayless has reasonable vision and a good pass before the line.... he will give Inu/Tahu some quality ball
