SHOCKING NEWS! Jamal Fogarty heading back to QLD cup?

Just reading a bit of chat on the other site that Jamal is heading back to qld, half a season into his 2 year contract.

Anybody have any mail on this?

Would be a massive loss, the QLD 1EE contingent will be shocked as they had him penciled in as our run on half and the next Sterlo lol

  He was only ever a project Gem, he'd be on nothing more than minimum if that.

  Kelly would've been top 25. Robson probably is as well. Fogarty would've been second tier.

Considering Dargan is off contract I'd say the club would prefer to keep Dargan than Fogerty

  No its not a matter of money or one or the other, fog would have maybe not even been on minimum and really was only a project.

His days were seriously numbered the moment the club signed Moses & with Guthos conversion to a 5/8 option there was even less chance he'd stick around.

To me he was always going to be injury filler or an option along with Robson if Gutho failed in the halves until Dargan was ready.

Seriously, though, we shouldn't be surprised. He was signed as a fringe first-grader given a chance to prove his worth but didn't, so he's going back to the quality of football that he'll do well in & that's the QLD Cup.

  I see he is still shown on the players profile page. If he decided that he was the odd man out and he has a young family, each away from family not unusual. Would have loved to see him stay and see how he went. It will mean that Dargan will be playing more ISP games and Robbo wont be here next year either.
  
  With 3 quality players already that can fill the 6 & 7 spots in NRL its going to be hard for an ISP half to show themselves good enough to put real pressure on those above.
