PANGAI TO PARRA?
Anthony Milford’s mooted move to Parramatta could come unravel and it’s all because of teammate Tevita Pangai.
Pangai has been shopped around to the Dragons and Tigers, but now appears set to join the Bulldogs for 2022.
It appears, however, that he may leave for a short-term deal.
Penrith have been one option, but now the Eels are set to enter the fray.
“I don’t think he will go to the Panthers,” Channel 7’s Chris Garry told SEN.
“They would like him and they’re interested in him but it’s not going to work financially.
“I don’t think that will happen, Pangai has made it clear and his management has made it clear that he wants to finish the season at a club that will compete for a premiership.
“You can automatically rule a lot of clubs out. It leaves you with the Roosters, Rabbitohs, Storm, the Eels etc.
“But my sources indicate the Eels are the most likely place for him to end up. They are interested in Anthony Milford.
“They would prefer Pangai, it’s a tricky one for a few clubs because Tevita is on a big contract so notionally he has to enter the cap at a higher figure.
“The Eels are one of the few clubs who could afford that and he would be fantastic for them of the bench.”

This is where the 1st August cut off date really makes no sense. Round 20 at the latest, out of 25 rounds, and you can still change clubs looking for a premiership. Seriously, what a hollow way to win a comp.

I wouldnt say no. WE can contiinue our power game through the middle when RCG goes off and this lunatic picks it up. Need Carty to create though. WE wont wont beat any of the big 4 sides going around them. Must go middle and through on second phase play only chance.
