Theres 6-8wks out
Mattersons brilliant decision to sit out the start of the season is looking even worse now.
Hope Noah Matterson spends that money he saved iwisely . Im sure he will be down at Vaucluse asking his mates where he should invest it .
Next man up
If only we could have offered the big $700K contract to Papalii instead of Matterson
Would he need surgery? I think he'll be back soon , still 2 weeks till kick off
That is a huge loss especially with Papali'i going to the Tigers and Matterson suspended for 3 weeks.
Murchie and Doorey (if fit) should be capable fill ins until Matterson and Lane are right to go.
To be honest , Matterson was shit after he got his new payday . I'd like to see someone step up and make Matto have to work for his spot as a valuable life lesson . He obviously thinks he's important enough to choose to sit out over in the scheme of things is like $250 fine to the average punter when you're on $12,000 a week .
pathetic excuse for a human to sit out 3 weeks over a third of his weekly wage . Would have been a better result simply from a team perspective if he broke his jaw instead of Lane since Matto is sitting out anyways for a few weeks .
Hopgood is that person.
