A friend was at the awards last night and asked Sharp about the coaching position and he said it would be announced today. Interestingly , JT walked in straight after him.

Let's hope today is the day, for all our sakes LOL

Let's hope so. Roosters haven't come out and officially announced the departure of Green to Cowboys. Maybe they're waiting for Eels to confirm JT signing so they can hold one press conference and announce the departure of the two assistant coaches ? No idea. But then again if we were waiting for after the GF to announce JT, then why are Cowboys confirming that Green will be coach already ? Maybe we won't be getting JT...

  Perhaps Green going to Cowboys was leaked but it would be tasteless to announce JT as coach of Eels before the biggest game of the season dont you think. I certainly would not.
  
  So we think we are down to Sheens, JT or BA. First 2 I like BA I dont know to much about except his time at Manly and Eels as assistant. Players liking a coach does'nt really matter respect is more important.
  
  My best teachers at school who had me excel were tough as nails. Now I love them for caring enough.

As long as it is the announcement that pleases all of us. Fingers crossed the next "New Era" will be a good thing.

Yes I agree. I think his experience would be very handy but as coach he might be too set in his ways although as Director of Coaching he can still implement what needs to be done.. JT and/or BA would be good.
