Fairfax Media reported ASADA is also ready to issue notices to 17 members of NRL club Cronulla's 2011 squad.

If proved, the anti-doping charges could result in suspensions that would end some players' careers.

Makes you wonder if that is part of the reason of a recent retirement ? , and also if next Wednesday is a certain players swan song ?

    They've been looking for the ink to put on the notices for the last 18 months. Glad to see they found some finally! What a great organisation they are.

    David Smith needs to show some balls and proceed with some sort of litigation against ASADA for defamation against our game.
    Why would an organisation choose the weekend before one of the decades most anticipated games to bring this to the forefront of the sporting media? All this is achieving is the public defamation of our games integrity. Either that or tell ASADA that the NRL no longer recognises them as the keeper of the gate for anti doping due to there prolonged and incompetent handling of the issue. 18 months is a fecking joke.

    Shite. I couldn't help but laugh when on a radio station they kept criticising moving Gallen to the front row, because he is not as big as a few years ago. Hmmmm, wonder why
