Sharkies prediction... Whats yours?

Ok picture this fella's.

Its Saturday 2 hours before the Sharkies game and the Semi media nightmare is out of control. Semi has only made it back for the captains run the day before and the media are having a field day. Foran is all over the news for the wrong reasons and BA just trying to keep the guys together and know their jobs.

With an hour to go the new team list goes out that Mannah is in. Back just in time for the Jon Mannah Cup and starting. Alvaro to the bench and O'Brien drops off..

BA gathers the troops and goes into the most heart warming, gut wrenching speech of the year. I am predicting maybe a tear or two and chatter about what we have built within this team no journo or tosser can take from us. How Semi is broken down and we are family we stick together. How today we will do Tim and the Mannah family proud.

There is SO much drama heading into this game that the big bottoms Kardashians would be jealous.

Shut the gate! Its going to be an Eels team pumped full of emotion and they will be treating this game like a grand final.

I am predicting not only an Eels win, but an absolute demolition of the Sharks. I think there will be plenty of spite in the game and predicting Semi to have an absolute blinder. Lots of bum and head tapping on other players from Kenny.

Eels to win, and 13+. Bet the house on it.

What's your take?

  • Eels will win. Gallen never wins anything. :)

  • Eel 13+ hahaha we be lucky if we put a side together

  • These games usually go one of two ways.

Option 1) The team are inspired, angry, super focused and want to take revenge out on the opposition. They produce a super human effort and beat the Sharks. This is often what happens immediately after an event such as a Coach being sacked.

Option 2) The team are mentally drained and unfocused. So many issues in back office, front office, press, court action, player movements, player indiscretions etc that their heads are all over the place and they crumble like a park footy side. The Sharks sense blood in the water and cash in on a mentally weakened team.

I'd love it to be Option 1. I think it's probably a 60/40 chance of it being Option 2 though.

    • So what youre saying is we will either win or lose. Good one Captain obvious :) lol

  • hahaha

  • Well I will def have a punt on it. $3.5o just for the head to head win on Sportsbet. All day baby!

  • I'm with ya Steve!! Why wouldn't we smash em? They are very due for a beating, and we're just the ones to give it to em!!

  • What I'm saying is we probably won't draw. But we could. :)

  • Eels by 10 gutherson first tryscorer
  • We'll put a fight win or lose I'm sure they'll do us proud
