i know some people might think this blog is a waste of space but there arent any blogs where i could leave this as a comment.at the start of the season he was clearly gunning it and was rewarded with a city origin birth. Now i dont watch much roosters games so i generally just assume he is still playing well and is the roosters best forward, but last night while watching the roosters vs knights he came off the bench and i didnt know why. When he got on the feild i must say he was really crap. he really only made 5 metres a hit-up, and didnt offload or do anything exciting.i was trying to monitor his defensive efforts but he seemed to go missing in defense. i went on www.nrlstats.com and i saw that he's stats weren't so great really. Can someone who watches his games regularly tell me if he must of had an off night or he is in a form slump.also, it was stated be ando that he would be getting a 2nd row birth at the club but i think he is to slow and predictable and doesnt have the mobility to play 2nd row.anyways if anyone wants to discuss anything about the love shack post here

At the start of the season Shack was the best forward in a team that as very very poor.. I'd watch him almost single handidly try and inspire his team to no avail..

Shack has definetely not been as dominant in the last 4-5 weeks, which i lay down to the fact the Roosters as a team have been playing much better, with alot of the other forwards carrying more of the workload.. Shack i think has just been a bit lazy and cruised through this period, (plus i think he has had a few niggles) .

But there is no doubt the guy is a good footballer and on his day has a real intimidating factor, which i think Parramatta lack. I am hoping Anderson can get the best out of him, and really tap into that aggresion..

Hi Dan_Ref, i haven't really followed Shackleton either and he's not in my NRL fantasy team lol. All i know is there seems to be a lot of raps on him & DA must think he's a good fit for us - if we've signed him. We'll see.

I definitely think that under a proper coach in Ando we will see the best out of him.

  Ben Smith really is average in the backrow most games. has had a few good weeks running out wide, but he is just playing like a centre who is standing a little bit more infield. I'd prefer someone who hits up the ball with a bit more gusto. Benny Smith is a good player, but not necessarily a good backrower.

Not all backrowers play on the edges. I think you'll find he'll play in the middle third of the field allowing Hindmarsh and Mateo to play on the fringes.

As far as current form goes it would be hard to turn up each week knowing your team isn't going to make the finals plus added to the fact knowing that your moving on to another club.

ive been watching some games he goes alright and under anderson he will blossom id like to see him trim up a little bit to get some more speed and fitness

Been following the shack over last few weeks. Fittler hasn't been giving him much game time ...agree he has problems in lateral movement and seem a bit sluggish. I do feel though because he still a bit raw, these things can be fixed up and will a good buy 4 Parra ....
