Shane Muspratt Interview

Another player interview, this time with an Eel (even if it was for just one season).
Had a chat with Shane Muspratt, a former utility (five-eighth, hooker and second-row).

A really nice guy to talk to and opened up really well with his insights and chat about rugby league growing up, his career and his post-NRL life.

Enjoy.

    • One of the questions did state he played for the Eels in 2004 and he explains the season he had with us, yes.

  • Good job Ricky , keep up the good work.
    • Thanks, Rosemont. Appreciate it.

  • Good to see you on here rik. Thx
    • Thanks, Chief.

  • shit ricky you interview bigger names than graham norton

    • I'm not necessarily after any of the big names when I do these interviews, Nudger. I simply find who is available and share their story and journey through both rugby league and life.

Shane was lovely to chat with and was excited to have his story put forth over the course of a few questions. This certainly won't be the last interview of its kind as well as numerous players are still in the process of either answering questions or getting back to me and I'm always on the lookout for new players to potentially chat to/with.

    • Can you reach out to Danny Crnkovich for an interview?
  • Well done Ricky in your quest for the least known players to play NRL . I'm actually really enjoying seeing your great progress . These may become the biggest cult series of blogs the site has seen . Still a long way to go to beat the Dynasty blog , but you're on your way .

Peter Johnston owns Subway Wollongong mate ( hint hint ) now that'd be an interview . When my mrs told him that her hubby said he was one of his all time fav Eels , Peter was shocked and over the moon that someone even remembered him neverlone was a fan .
