Shane Flanagan in bitter legal stoush against own players

Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan has made allegations of assault towards some of his players following an assault on a night out back in October.

Flanagan, 51, has made accusations to police after being assaulted by Sharks Five-Eighth Chad Townsend, Enforcer Jason Bukuya, and Andrew Fifita.

The altercation occurred on October 2nd just minutes after the Sharks won the 2016 Grand Final. Both Townsend and Bukuya prepared the assault while Fifita attracted Flanagan's attention before Townsend and Bukuya striked. Its understood the police were called once the players went back to the player sheds.

The Daily Telegraph has recieved vision of the assault.
