in the big scheme of things a loss to South's in rd 24 of a season where we aren't making the finals or doing anything of note isn't a big deal, but need to rectify the issues that keep appearing and learn from them. Team should be looking forward to testing themselves v the roosters.
Look I'm livid over the loss too but come on, against Brisbane and Melbourne that effort was there. One bad loss and everything is rubbish and everyone says spoon.
Moses was right, wrong mentality. It is not good enough but we as a team are still bottom 4 level at this stage. Move on and improve. Yeah there are green shoots but long way to go. Moses though no excuse.
Who would want to be a coach hey 😂 so many moving parts lol

Agreed and we didn't change tack even though we were winning the collision. The sausage fest for this team took some shrinkage after that poor performance.
Oh well I guess the rainbow unicorn fest has another month of footy to right itself.
Eels played against Souths like they expected an easy win and that's why Ryles ( really stupid) put Joash at 6 instead of Hawkins who is more stable and calmer. Moses was terrible as was most of the team
Think you hit the nail on the head CE. Listening to the presser, Moses himself said they came in with the wrong mindset.
My guess is they've half clocked off for the year and are busy planning their mad monday rather than ending the season on an upward trajectory.
Until they get some proper experienced signings, I think there is going to be more and what small highlights of talent there are will be quick to sign elsewhere
"Thanks, Darren. Kind words mate. Therapeutical? A little, haha. You're reading between the lines lol.
I like Little Pap and want him to come good, yet I feel he's more comfortable at one.
Hawkins probably didn't deserve to get dropped either. He's…"
"no such thing these days, a grabber in goal does not mean a repeat set these days. Its become a dying art. The art now is to kick high and land it just before the try line."
"Right but that's subjective to you then. There was a Poppa's corner, which has since been deleted, after the Canberra loss in Darwin where you unloaded on Ryles. I remember it as i felt this was different to how you usually are. Isn't that a sense…"

When we look bereft against a NSW cup level side things are not fucking good. We ran out of ideas against a team that had no clue
