I can't help but feel we are in for a disappointing season. In rd 1 2018 we were looking great until Waqa Blake destroyed us just before halftime with a great individual try. Penrith got the momentum and went on with it from there. I look back at that year and truly believe waqa single-handedly dropped our heads, dropped our season.
Rd 2 we got absolutely destroyed at brookvale and whilst we had good games here and there through out that season we were certainly worthy of the spoon.
Geez I hope I'm wrong but I can smell a flogging coming again at brookvale.

Yes, if flogged this weekend by manly, I wouldn't be surprised if we get the spoon this year. We found a way to lose to the tigers last year. Api is unfit remember. All they'd need is a couple of their middle forwards to have a random good game and give some space to a fit api and yep I could see them finding a way to beat us.

You're probably right. There is a chance though. But yeah probably come good here and there and win 3-4 games and that might just be enough to avoid it.

Top sides hey. Yeah the Storm were flogged by the Dogs. And the Sharks without their star halfback and forward leader and at Commbank I'm afraid Brad is lost for answers, and is one of the worst development coaches in eels history. We won't be in the 8 all season guaranteed.

Absolutely. Then you have guys like Matterson who signs a large contract then doesn't want to play. He won't be adding anything trust me
