I don't know what Shack has done but Kearney does not want him at the club. With the signing of Darcy Lussick it appears as if the replacement has been signed. Shackleton has already approached SK for a release but it was refused for an unknown reason. There are reports that his former club, Sydney Roosters have approached him but as far as I know his future is up in the air.

The whole thing with calling Kearney a f***wit on social media to thousands of followers probably didn't help him, but I don't think he'd be challenging for a first team spot this year regardless.
I imagine we'd only let him go if another team offered to cover a reasonable amount of his wage.. We're obviously not struggling for cap space this year, so why pay his wage to have him help another team win?
Mm.. Especially if they're having to let Grant and McKendry go.
Can't believe people still whinge Shack is not in the side, he is not in the top 4 props at Parra, and i don't think he is mobile to play 2nd row anymore. Only place he could probably play is in the middle and who would you drop then??? Hindy????

People have short memory, He barely did anything last year he was solid but did nothing that says he is a must have in any first grade team. With Peni developing nicely in wenty the signing of lussick you would think he probably wouldnt be required next season no real loss and will free up a bit of money, I recall him being on about 220-250k? correct me if i am wrong. Also there is still John Mannah who hopefully can over come his illness for a second time and maybe get another contract next year?
