Noticed 3 players from NT (assume Northern Territory) & if so wonder if this direct result of Parra playing up there?
Yeah. As part of the deal with the NT there's a new competition called the "Eels cup" and Parra send a scout up there to watch some of the games and they bring 6 players down to have a trial with Parra.
Anthony Layoun not named. It'd be a shame if we'd lost him but the main thing is that we still have Michael Doolan, Troy Dargan, and Joey Tramontana. Parra don't have a history of bringing up and keeping quality halves so the fact that we have these guys in our system is fantastic, hopefully they continue a steady progression through to our first grade.
That third game is where I think we'll get most of our talent for our squad. Mainly made up of players that were a part of our 2013 Harold Matthews winning team with some HM graduates from this year.
