I have been made aware by a number of members on the site that, due to it being the off-season, some members have turned on each other and have resorted to insults as well as other disrespectful comments. As Phil said in his blog his time isn't exactly over flowing at the moment. Mine isn't either due to exams, I get on when I can but mainly to see what's new in the rugby league world. I am asking all members to please settle down and just remember to keep it civilised on here. The Code of Conduct is what you should be referring to if you make a comment that you think is a bit risky. Remember, you can delete your own comments at any time so if you feel you're out of line, take it down yourself as it saves us having to do it. I know some members like to stir the pot a bit and do bait some members. Just remember that they're probably looking for a reaction so don't respond and they'll lose interest. Also, they usually don't mean to offend, they're either looking for a response or they want a laugh. That type of blogging is fine so long as the person the comment is directed to doesn't take offence. If you think that their comment is out of line and contradicts the Code of Conduct, PM me or one of the other mods and we'll deal with the comment and if needed the user. I remind all members of the site that everyone should be able to use the site without fear of being bullied, insulted or attacked. Members who break these rules will be dealt with accordingly.
I understand that it's the off-season and that we have relaxed on the moderation of the site. However, with Phil running for the Board, this site is a reflection on him and as a result, the cleaner it is, the better it looks for him.

The PM is if you believe a mod has missed something. This is the people's site. No one on here is paid for moderating the site as such, if everyone keeps each other in line then there won't be problems. The mod that is messaged will make the decision as to whether the comment is out of line with the Code of Conduct.
