All jokes aside the Eels seriously need a new coach. I think personally Brad Arthur has been here a few years too long and yet his contract is for another 2 years. It will have been 9 years at the end of this season and realistically what has Brad Arthur done besides bring some stability?
It's clearly obvious that the Eels will be extremely lucky to make the top 4 this year which amounts to no premiership and worse than last year. It's highly probable that by the end of this weekends games the Eels could find themselves in 7th or 8th spot.
I cannot understand Brad Arthur's coaching tactics, his use of the bench, or his selections. He knows there are players leaving at the end of the year Mahoney, Nuikore, Kaufusi, Stone and Papali and yet he persists with these players who are playing like crap except for probably Papali and Stone is injured.
The coach continues to persist with his son when everyone knows he's just not up to the standard and there were far better options available. Its getting beyond a joke and if the coach ever had any respect for the club he should really hand in his resignation for the end of this season.
The Eels look extremely disinterested, fatigued and their attack and defence is woeful. It's time now for this CEO and Board to start seriously looking for a new coach. Can anyone seriously put up with another 2 years of this mediocre coach and team?

It's pretty depressing given the realisation we all find ourselves in. Last night's game could have gone 2 ways and unfortunately it went the way most expected.

I thought Ogden's big body was something we needed weeks ago but again, Brad brings him on in the dying minutes.
Realistically if Brad can't get us to the next level (which I believe he can't) then why persist???
