Semi was a no-show at court - warrant has been issued

Warrant issued for the arrest of @NRL star Semi Radradra. Magistrate says warrant will be held till Thursday. He did not attend court today.

"Magistrate scathing of Semi Radradra for failing to attend court on domestic violence charges: "haven't been given a satisfactory reason"."

"He's in Fiji caring for sick father - but medical officer letter says while he has asthmas - he's recovered from tuberculosis."

I have heard his flown back to Fiji for his sick father. If that's true or not

  Its "true" as far as we know. Apparently Semi or his lawyer had provided a medical certificate stating Semi's father had Tuberculosis but has healed and now had bad asthma.

  His fathers illness is an ongoing illness. So based on this theory Semi will be in Fiji every week. I agree with the judge it's not an acceptable excuse for missing court or pre season.
  
  It's time Parramatta Football Club took a stance on his running to and from Fiji. He's either putting in like his team mates during pre season training or we release him.
  
  It's a team sport and it's time Parramatta started calling the shots and thinking about the whole squad and not just Semi.

Fuck me - this does not help his cause. Magistrates and judges hate it when an accused show disrespect for the court by failing to attend. Surely his lawyer told him this.... Semi you are a bloody idiot!
