I'm really not sure brissy, I just threw that out there to try and justify why they might spend that kind of coin on a winger. As you mentioned, fitness would be a concern but he'd also have to take on a role in organising the defence. Could be worth a try but it sounds like a pretty shaky concept for a marquee player in the clubs first season.
Don't think Semi would have the tactical knowledge for an NRL fullback Brissy? A lot of organising the line, defensive nous & communication required as you know. Different kind of conditioning also, he might lose that explosiveness having to do so much work. He was basically a second fullback for us anyway & without the defensive responsibility.
Surely he would've been, Ram? Juat watched his highlights again. Imagine trying to tackle a raging semi in open space, muscular cheeks flapping in the wind, the whites of his eyes shining right through you... superhuman.
Yeah his rise from those first games at the 9's, to where he ended up, was phenomenal wasn't it.
No doubt he could learn to do it over time, just wonder if the extra workload & responsibility might impact his other strengths...? Would take a brave man to tell semi he 'can't' do anything though.
Be amazing to see him back in any position though, even at another club.
"Steel gunsight and mouthfuls of snow. Sisu...You want simo on your side when things turn white.and the Orcs are about
Watch Aimo too...he had a time after taking his whole squads supply of Pervitin...which is straight up meth"
"You can't get a fair draw the way it is but you can make it fairer.
Traditionally the top 8 only changes with 1-2 new teams every season so going off the previous season is about as close as you can get to predicting the good teams from the bad,…"

Well, we can't afford him.You can't be upset about that.
I can't see this happening. Sure they can ask, and if they have $1 million a season to spend on a winger they just might get him.
haha, yeah not Wayne's style but the way recruiting is going, they might have $1 million for him and play him at fullback

If he's fit enough and he's committed to taking on the role he could be great.

This feels like classic Wayne marketing to me.
I wonder whether Semi would have been the greatest winger of all time had he stayed in the NRL for his whole career?
