Semi to fullback

Just wana get you guys opinion on semi playing fullback . I personally think he will thrive with open space and a broken line in front of him . Needs time to develop the art of passing but as we can see he is a quick learner .What do you think ?

  • Played rugby sevens can be can pass a ball. I don't think he would suit a set structure though and would struggle talking to the defensive line
  • I wouldnt be moving semi anywhere just yet, hes simply to effective on the wing, breaking EGS records, hes a try scoring freak and we need to use him to our advantage, Foran will feed it out to him it will be try city.

Im not sure semis positional play is up to fb either at the moment, he could make a great one Kng but i wouldnt go plugging a hole in the nest with the goose that laid the golden egg, we wouldnt have any golden eggs then, and the best is yet to come from semi.

If he stays here he will smash every try scoring record in the club in half the time it took anybody else, the blokes bigger and faster than EGS,

Semi is already the most lethal winger and try scorer in the game, id be keeping him there for a long time to come and really building a big part of our attack around moving it out to him, he is a proven postman.

    I love the big bloke

    • Spot on snake keep semi where he is he and takka combo working fine they can't afford to break that combo a majority of our tries come from that left edge.
  • Well said snake but the thort of him at the back must be excited and frightening
  • Exciting*
  • Move the best winger in the game to fullback.... why? We'll likely have Norman playing FB for the rest of the tear, at least in defence. Next year, we'll have Michael Gordon.

  • Also, good wingers don't always make good fullbacks. Examples include - Will Hopoate, Origin winger & Alex Johnston from Souths. He was sh*t tonight against Penrith.

  • Haha, damn!

  • I suggested this last season.
As stupid as it would be to take him from his current position, I would love to see him winding up from kick returns and hitting the Defense with gusto! That would be great to see.
  • He lacks the communication skills to play fullback imo

"What makes a utility a utility? Is it being on the bench or actually being a versatile athlete? Joash is a fullback, that's it, he is 18th man but that doesn't mean he is 'cover' that's a mistake I expect Ryles to learn from, expect Samrani and or…"
