Not sure if this is obvious but just struck me about that perfect opportunity Semi had early this year to end the legal case against him by just turning up to court when he knew ahead of time that the prosecution would not be there:
Surely if Semi was even partly guilty he would have grabbed that opportunity and postponed his trip to back to Fiji. This more than anything indicates to me that Semi is completely innocent. The accusations were tested in court and did not get very far.
Semi's copped a lot over this and his reputation and brand has been destroyed by the accusations and his behavior at the time (talking to Broncos and overstaying in Fiji). When Semi had all this stuff going on it may be reasonable to be looking to get away from it.
Hopefully Semi comes back and if he does, then from what I can see his reputation deserves to be completely clean.

Give it a rest mate, it's over with done & dusted. FYI the prosecution were always there it was his ex missed who didn't show !!!!
