Semi Radradra Saga

The following quotes i have pinched from a Facebook post from a guy who apparently has mates who know Semi and his family really well. A few interesting statements here, take it as you will i guess.. All quotes are from the same guy.

"Starting to to think that Semi rumour was a load of crap and a shit stir, it's all gone quiet now, I also have friends who live in Suva Fiji, and according to them, Semi is visiting family, giving back accessories such as boots, clothing etc to his village, and also has been seen doing a bit of training. Meant to fly back to Sydney today and be at training tomorrow

Also have on good word he will be at Parra in 2018, BA and the club want to lock him up quickly. Hearing a 2yr 1.1 million dollar deal (550k a season)"

"The media don't understand, he goes to Fiji every off season to give the old parra gear, players boots etc to his village who don't have a lot. Semi is such a humble dude. I really don't see the guy ever leaving the Eels."

"His father is very very ill and has been for quite sometime. and he has the responsibility (should his father die) of looking after his mother and his siblings, as hes the oldest. Semi goes back to Fiji reguarly, to check and help his dad and his family and also his very less fortunate village. Thats why he is given an extended break in the off season or whenever we have the Bye. Semi will be here in Australia for a few weeks, then he will go back to Fiji in a few weeks to spend Christmas and New Years with his family, he will then return in early January to prepare for the 9s and the 2017 season"

"As i stated i know people in Fiji who know Semi and his family very well and his whole story, can't tell you every detail, but dont let the media manipulate you and make you believe he isnt happy, he is very very happy at the Eels. I cant tell you the full details, but the French Rugby Rumours back in late June, were not about money or happiness. Semi is happy on his current wage as he is able to support his family and he is also very committed to the club. The whole Rugby Union story will shock you, but its not for me to say, however not that it matters anyway. Semi has said he no longer thinks about Union and wants to stay in the NRL forever"

  • What do you mean by that miatch?

  • LOL at this article, 'semi is happy on his current wage'' ahahahahahaha, gold.

    • He is a Fijian and the money doesn't go to his head like most players... where he comes from 250k is like a million to them, he will be getting another 300k upgrade soon anyway.

  • After his court case is over he will be suspended by the NRL for most of the season.
    • Fingers crossed, he has to be found guilty and sufficient evidence of any wrong doing before the NRL can suspend him, his ex girlfriend better have a good case and not be a waste of time by just making the story to get money out of Semi.

    • SKD was found not guilty. Why not Semi.

      • Different facts, difference brief of evidence and very different people involved.  Although we could see the same result?

  • Anyone have a date on the court case?
  • He is looking at 5 weeks max. Wont be anymore then that

    • Robert Lui was suspended for 12 months a few years ago so I would guess Semi will get a similar punishment.
