On a positive note how good was Semi on Monday night. Its not only his running game but his passing is starting to be the highlight part of his game, usually very selective and usually results in breaks. Led to two trys I can remember, one to Taka and the other the length of field try he eventually scored himself. Just on that try his support play there was first rate, usually someone who hits the dirt passing stays there watching the play but not him.
Could a move to centre be possible for next year?

He was sensational Monday night and although we succumbed to a JT masterclass, there were some positives to take from the game.
Mau, Wicks, Peats, Norman and Paulo were very good, Choc too.
Makes you wonder how we would have went with this team including Foran and Scott?
Half way through the season and still no 50 point thrashings.
Agreed. He also took a lot of pressure off our forwards by hitting the ball up every chance he got. Good player this guy hope he's in the blue and gold for a long time to come.
'Don't try and fix something that's not broken'
Semi is having a great season (considering he was sidelined for 8 weeks), I wouldn't move him, he and Taka are the reasons our left side defence is solid. Our right edge (minus Hopa and Moeroa) needs fixing
Big G if you watch the game closely he sometimes plays centre and last 2 weeks when playing centre he supplied the ball to Taka to score.
If he can improve his defence then he would be an absolute weapon at centre. he's not a fullback.
That pass to "Takka" was very well done. A touch of glass thrown in with brute strength (and will).
Glass. That'll do some damage.
Other players in the team need to step up e.g. on the play where he was stripped first tackle why did he recieve the ball from a pass at the 20 metre rather than Hoppa taking the ball up himself. What it means is that both wingers where out of position not just one.
We've done that play for the past year and a half, all of our grades do it.
