Semi Radradra is considering a shock return to the NRL and Parramatta are early favourites to secure his signature.
News of Radradra’s intention to return to Australia is sure to spark a flurry of interest among several desperate clubs, despite his likely $1 million asking price.
The Eels, with whom Radradra played for five years before quitting the NRL at the end of 2017, are already considered his most likely destination.
The reason for Radradra’s shock return is simple: he prefers living in Australia to France.

Apples and oranges Tad. The money on offer these days is measures of scale greater than in Price's day. Let's remember Ray Price was a Wallaby who turned his back on Rugby to play professionally in League. He followed the money trail.
Of course people do things for free, people do volunteer work all the time, but it's still not the same thing. This is their profession. It's how they make their living.
Traditions won't pay Ray Price's mortgage or support him in his old age.
I understand all that mate, but your expecting professional footballers with a limited career to not maximise their earnings, that's not just realistic.
I mean yeah sure, they might create some sort of legacy by doing so, but they might not. One really bad injury it can be all gone.
You're asking young men, many of whom have come a low socio economic upbringing to say no to guaranteed money.

The problem is that you're equating choosing to maximise your earning potential with greed, and they're not the same thing.
